What does the lifetime warranty cover?
The lifetime warranty is pretty straightforward, and covers both the dampers and springs. You can download our warranty information here. Also, in the past 9 years we have been in business we have NEVER had a single production blown production damper. So trust us, you’re not going to be sending any dampers back to us anytime soon. Our reliability is proven, and we have an outstanding warranty to back up our work. It has been our focus since day 1, and we continue to prove their reliability year after year one client at a time.

Can you make a coilover for my application?
We have made coilovers for applications such as the Saturn S-series. The Saturn crowd really had no coilover offering at the time, and the ones they did have were all discontinued. So we built the system from the ground up, and even went as far as purchasing a vehicle to R&D the product, and make other custom parts to increase their aftermarket support. So yes, we can make coilovers for any application, and have done just that in the past. Simply e-mail us what your application is and what you have in mind, and we can discuss the project with you. Please note that we do not always accept all the orders we get for custom one-off applications. It truly depends on the scope of the project as well as what we have on our plate. But again feel free to e-mail us if you have a chassis which we do not offer coilovers for. It doesn’t hurt to ask.

How low can I lower my car?
Well that truly depends on the application, but on most applications you will have more than enough adjustability to get your desired lowering. We also ask all our customers the height they plan to lower their car to when we are discussing the setup that we’d like to build for them.

Do you offer any sponsorships?
You know, this year is the first time we have ever sponsored anyone. We really do not sponsor a lot of people because we just don’t want to increase our exposure and workload to the point where we get backlogged. There was a period where we had a 12-month lead time and it was something that we did not enjoy putting our customers through, but the amount of growth we experienced was tremendous. But we are blessed to have some really great, supportive and patient customers that love our product and what we do. Trust us, we are a small company, but we’re a busy one. We do not mind anyone sending in their sponsorship proposals, but please remember we don’t sponsor a lot of people. Don’t let that stop you from sending in your sponsorship proposals though if you feel you can bring something to the table. Whether you’re an individual, or a race team, it does not matter. We welcome them all, but we kindly request that your sponorship proposal be laid out in a professional manner, and not simply an e-mail message with a single picture asking if we will sponsor you.

What makers your damper better than others?

What are your nameplates made out of?
Funny, but we actually get asked this question a lot. We use quality parts on every aspect of our dampers and on other products we make. The stickers, or nameplates as we like to call them, are made out of real aluminum which are anodized with our logo. So not only are they real aluminum, but they are as gorgeous and durable as our coilovers. Can we say attention to detail? Damn straight.

What diameter spring do you use?
We use a pretty standard size which is 2.5″ ID in Hyperco, and 65mm in Swift. Our most commonly used length spring is 7″, with 8″ being the next most commonly used.

What is your current lead time?
That all depends. Sometimes it’s a few days, sometimes it can be months. It is solely based on the season, as well as the application. We stock many parts so we can assemble applications immediately, but that is not always the case. It is always best to e-mail us directly and ask what our current lead time is.

One of the most important things to us is building a coilover system that not only lasts a long period of time, but also performs for a long period of time. The shock fluid we use is formulated not to overheat, and combat from breaking down. Our coilovers sometimes see long track abuse, so not only does the damper need to perform for a long period, but the spring as well. This is where Hyperco really shines. Not only is there springs linearity consistant, but the length of time they perform at their advertised rate is longer than many of the other brands we tested. So what does all this produce? This produces a combination that will provide consistent dampening throughout a extended period of time whether it is track use or normal daily driving. It is small things like this that sets both of our companies apart from the rest.

Are your coilovers made in the USA as well as your other parts?
We get this question often, and the answer is yes, and no. There are quite a few components both internally and externally when it comes to our dampers. Just like many companies out there we outsource, and get parts from various companies around the world. We build our coilovers in the USA, but not every single component such as our seals are made in the USA. We are not in the business of making rubber parts, and we are not tooled up to make shock shafts as well. I assure you though our partners we deal with provide us with high quality parts and meet our strict demands for quality. We have been dealing with many of our suppliers for many many years, and this is one of the many reasons why we have been able to go 8+ years without a single blown damper. Rest assure our durability is proven, and the people we deal with to produce components or provide us materials are the best in the business. Not only have we proved the durability of our product, but we back it up with a LIFETIME WARRANTY! We also produce many suspension parts such as strut tower bars, and swaybars for example which are all made in the USA. Those parts do not require anything special, and we have all the tooling to produce those parts ourselves. We are here to provide quality products to our customers, and we have been doing this for many years.

Do I need a camber kit?
This is one of the most commonly asked questions that we get, and the answer is for street use NO..but..read on. What is most important is getting an alignment as soon as possible, and have your toe set to zero. A little bit of negative camber is not going to increase your tire wear dramatically, but bad toe will. Also a lot of camber kits, especially the ones made for the Honda and Acura platform are not friendly to the shock towers. It is very common that the aftermarket adjustable upper control arms slaps the inside of the shock towers causing small stress cracks. It is especially prone on setups that are lowered more than 2 inches, and are on either lowering springs or coilovers with a soft spring rate. We highly suggest running your OEM upper control arm, and have an alignment shop reset your toe settings back to exactly zero. For our clients who do require an alignment kit to attain specific alignment settings, such as a camber kit or toe kit please contact us. We have camber plates for certain vehicles, as well as adjustable camber arms as well.
